India-US ties in true sense a partnership of trust, says PM Modi at Quad
In Tokyo on May 24, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi met with President of the US, Mr. Joe Biden, just after the Quad Leaders' Summit, and remarked that the India-US cooperation is a true partnership of trust. The Prime Minister stated that India and the US have similar perspectives on the Indo-Pacific region.
People-to-people contacts and robust economic collaboration, according to Mr. Modi, distinguish the India-US partnership. The two leaders are scheduled to review the India-US Strategic Partnership and the conversations that took place during Mr. Modi's bilateral meeting with Mr. Biden in September 2021. They will also discuss regional and global topics of mutual concern.
During the Quad summit, a new programme for continuing collaboration in the marine domain, space, climate change, health, and cyber security was launched.
